Computer Lab

UCLA Department of Linguistics

The Computer Lab at the UCLA Department of Linguistics is located in 3103D Campbell Hall.  It provides computer facilities for use by graduate students, visiting scholars, and faculty in the UCLA Linguistics Department.  

The Lab also contains two additional PC's which are intended for research on mathematical and computational approaches to language understanding, production, and learnability. They are equiped with:

UCLA has a strong tradition in related formal studies of human language in Logic, in Philosophy, and in Artificial Intelligence, in addition to research in Phonetics and Psycholinguistics in this department, and in the departments of Psychology, and Neuroscience.

In addition to faculty and graduate research in mathematical and computational linguistics, the UCLA Linguistics Department offers an undergraduate major in Linguistics and Computer Science.
